Seed Health

سلسلة من الأبحاث تركز هدفها في استخدام تكنولوجيا آمنة واقتصادية لمقاومة الأمراض الكامنة في البذور والتي تؤثر على الإنتاج كماً ونوعاً مع إنتاج بذور عالية الجودة خالية من الإصابات المرضية من أجل المحافظة على صحة المستهلك والمقدرة على المنافسة التصديرية.

نشأه الفكرة:

نشأت الفكرة أثناء المنحة التى قدمت لى من هيئة المساعدات الدنمركية DANIDA بكوبنهاجن لدراسة أمراض البذور فى المحاصيل المصرية مع التركيز على فول الصويا. وقد أجريت الدراسة بكل الدانمارك و مصر فى تتابع زمنى أمكن عن طريقة تسجيل وجود فطريات ممرضة محمولة على بذور فول الصويا لا تتأثر ولعشرات السنين بالتخزين ولا تسبب أعراض على المحصول ولكنها تسبب نقص حاد فى الإنتاجية وقد ألقي البحث كملخص فى المؤتمر الدولي للبذور بإنجلترا.
